Steilacoom Tribal Culture Center and Museum hosting March 9 event
Museum tours and stories of real beginnings by Tribal Elder Danny Marshall – as well as a book signing by Dorothy Wilhelm – will take place March 9 (11 am-2 pm) at the Steilacoom Tribal Cultural Center and Museum (1515 Lafayette St in Steilacoom). Cost is $5 per person. All proceeds go to the museum.
SHMA History Hunt announces winners
Last year, The Steilacoom Historical Museum Association (SHMA) introduced a History Hunt with three different levels of difficulty, leading visitors through the museum grounds but also through the Historical District of Steilacoom. This year, due to changes, the History Hunts questions were updated.
