By Jaynie Jones Bridgeport Place treats residents and guests to a special dinner each month. A Greek festival was the March theme complete with decor and authentic Greek cuisine. The menu included Souvlakia, Kalamata and Feta, Moussaka, and Baklava.

Bridgeport Place hosted the first of what will be a series of casual, drop-in events for seniors on a recent Saturday afternoon. The City of University Place honored Bridgeport Place in an awards ceremony during a recent meeting of the city council. Mayor Debbie Klosowski and Recreation Supervisor Jennifer Robinson made the presentation of the plaque. Jaynie Jones, Community Relations Coordinator for Bridgeport Place, received the plaque on behalf of the entire staff and management team.
