Tacoma runner sets new state record
Tacoma’s Madonna Hanna, onJuly 27, 2024, set a new Washington State Senior Games record for Women aged 70-74 in the 50m sprint of 8.83 seconds. Madonna eclipsed the prior record of 8.84 second, which was set in 2009. Madonna also won the 100M event and qualified for the 2025 National Senior Game in Iowa.
