West Pierce Fire call activity increases 16% in January
West Pierce Fire & Rescue social media post. In January, firefighters responded to 1,669 9-1-1 calls for service. This averages to more than 53 calls per day and approximately 84% were for medical aid. Compared to January 2021, this represents a 16% increase in call volume.
