In September 2024, West Pierce Fire & Rescue (WPFR) responded to 1,492 calls for service, which was an average of 50 calls per day. Approximately 79% of those responses were for emergency medical aid.
9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Scheduled
In honor of the anniversary of September 11, West Pierce Fire & Rescue will hold a public ceremony in remembrance of the 2,977 victims lost on that date in 2001.
