Submitted by CORE Curran Apple Orchard 2017 Cider Squeeze needs volunteers. Apple cider, music and lots of fun are in store for volunteers at the annual Curran Apple Orchard Cider Squeeze on Sunday, August 27. Various jobs and shifts are available from 10am to 6pm.
High temps move concert to Curtis High, Aug. 3
Due to predicted excessive heat, CORE is moving the Thursday, August 3 concert in the Curran Orchard park to the AIR CONDITIONED Curtis High School Cafeteria located at 8425 40th St W in University Place. The concert will start at 6:30pm and end at 8pm. The concert will feature Clave Gringa, a Seattle-based Latin Jazz ensemble guaranteed to get you moving!
Expanded Chambers Creek Off Leash Dog Park to open July 23
Dog owners and their furry friends will enjoy a new and expanded off leash dog area at the Chambers Creek Regional Park with a Grand Opening Sunday, July 23 (1-3 pm).
