Tonight, on our Friday evening outing, we drove past the old Tenzler/Lakewood Library. Some of you may recall I expressed concern, earlier this week, about how shabby it looked with long overgrown grass. Well lo and behold the tall grass is gone.
I don’t know if it is a coincidence, or if someone in a position of power read what was written earlier and got the job taken care of, but what an improvement.
If the powers that be are listening Thank You and if was just timing…. it still looks much better.

You are welcome. Thanks for writing and giving me ammunition to request action of the library leadership. We shouldn’t have to demand what should just be taken care of in the ordinary course.

Thank you KM HILLS for speaking out with an obvious truth.
Thank you Mayor Whalen for your expeditious action & follow through.
Also, I appreciate the fact that KM HILLS used the Joe. Boyle axiom, CC, which stands for criticize & compliment. Many are only able to criticize & they never compliment. I try to put as much energy into complimenting as I do when I criticize, which is exactly what you have done.
Lakewood now looks better.

Thank you, KM Hills.
Since you seem to have the mayor and Joe Boyle reading your posts, maybe you could get someone in the city administration or health department to enforce the ordinance against household refuse carts being left on the street.
The city did a great job upgrading the entryways into Lakewood via Gravelly Lake and Washington Blvd, but some residents, apparently don’t know that their refuse carts are required by city ordinance to be removed from city property on the day of pickup.
