The “mental health experts” tell us that human brains are not fully developed until about age 25 on average.
Yet, there is this push to get people with “undeveloped brains” influencing the direction of our communities and this nation.
Same goes for those who are addicted – perhaps homeless – and therefore not in control of their emotions or thoughts either.
Gotta wonder why a particular-leaning political segment wants to “harness” these folks to pull their political cart.
Now, I believe anyone who can be made to serve and sacrifice for the greater good of this nation, should also be allowed to vote for its leadership.
However, I think it’s a travesty to see these “developing” folks used to propel political agendas that may not be good over the course of time.
How many have looked back on their youth and choices made, only to say, “What the hell was I thinking?” – hopefully not across the board, but at certain points in time?
Clear and objective thought is the only thing that ever added up to anything for me over time.
A greater ammount of that on average, rather than impulsive behavior, is the only reason I have anything to show for my efforts today.
Rational thought, in many instances, is not being taught to our youth today – quite the opposite actually.
That is not going to add up well over time.
Irrational: marked by a lack of accord with reason or sound judgment.
If leadership is advocating for scattered irrational thought, we need different leadership or we’re going to get an irrational outcome.
