In the news was, as considered by one Lousiana resident, a horrifying travesty of justice. A Taco Bell in Slidell, Louisiana ran out of Tacos. So, a man called 911 for police action.
I wonder if the new wave for police policy change by the State of California will impact on how police officers respond to Mexican restaurants running out of food items. Will California handcuff police by limiting police Use of Force to only engaging in food fights?
Will Mexican restaurants fall back on the old refrain, “You police are just hassling us because we are a Mexican restaurant.”

LOL (laughing out loud) Kinda reminds me of grass police hassling property owners for unkempt vegitation. It has its place, but not at the expense of civility and common sense. But then grass police are city ordnance enforcers (inspectors), not commisioned officers of the court. Let’s get our enforcement straight here and create an ordinace against running out of tacos punishable by monetary penalty, and leave the big guns out of it.

The real horrifying travesty (perhaps not of justice) is the closure of Tijuana Taco in Lakewood. 🙂

Carla,
You are correct. I am saddened every time I wear my 1969 charter customer T-Taco hat & shirt.
T-? really ran out of tacos.

Recently my lawn mower conked out. After seeing the item about the grass police I began to worry I would be called out too. Being 75, on a fixed income, it’s not easy making an unexpected major outlay of funds. The increasing property taxes and auto taxes the decrease in Federal returns have made it all but impossible to live here any more.
