More than 400 under served children and their parents recently attended a back to school fair at Springbrook Park sponsored by Caring for Kids.
Besides gobbling down lots of food, the children received backpacks which they stuffed with the necessary school supplies. Members of Lakewood First Lions Club and Kiwanis service clubs helped distribute the supplies along with other Lakewood community members.

Eric Warn.Did you attend this event?Where did your info come from?Do you live in Springbrook? My guess is you dont live here.Well,Mr.Warn.I live in Springbrook.I find your opening sentance very rude. What does”under served”mean? And how to you know the children and parents are”under served” I just happened to be at this event These children are the best and none of them deserve your remarks. They are not turkeys they do not “gooble”their food. There are many events happening in Springbrook I invite you to come and see what Springbrook and the people (young&old)are all about.Thank You Kimberly Hutchings community activist:
P.S Their were no Lakewood members in attendance, just Springbrook members
