We are taking DIY back in time! Join us this summer for an evening of “make and take” 19th century crafts. This is a chance to try your hand at tinsmithing, tatting, leatherwork, games and more! There will be a cash bar, food sampling, and live music from the Fort Nisqually Living History Museum Music Guild to set the mood. The museum will also present a special talk on birth control in the 19th century including methods, access and barriers to contraception and health care, and the prevailing attitudes of the era.
Grab some friends, enjoy a beverage, explore the museum’s historic buildings, and make something cool! Crafts may vary by event. This event is for 21+ only. Purchase tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/homespun-happy-hour-tickets-356721271927.
