Join the Pacific Lutheran University Scandinavian Cultural Center for the celebration of Norwegian Constitution Day, also known as Syttende Mai. This day holds great significance for the people of Norway as it marks the anniversary of the country gaining its independence from Sweden in 1814. It is a day filled with patriotism, pride, parades and joy as Norwegians come together to celebrate! Join attendees at PLU to raise the flag on Red Square at 8:30 am.
