“We’re from the government, and we’re here to help.” It’s a phrase that often raises eyebrows—but this time, it’s an invitation. The Small Business Liaison Team with the State of Washington is partnering with the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce to provide real, practical assistance to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs through an upcoming seminar, From Start to Smart Business on Wednesday, March 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce (6310 Mt. Tacoma Dr SW, Suite B). Doors will open at 5:00 pm for refreshments and networking.
This free event is designed to connect business owners and those looking to launch a new venture with key Washington State agencies. Attendees will gain valuable insights on navigating business regulations, accessing resources, and setting up for success. The goal is simple: to make state support services more accessible, ensuring small businesses have the tools they need to thrive.
“Starting and running a business comes with a lot of challenges, but access to the right information can make all the difference,” said Chamber President, Linda Smith. “We’re excited to partner with the Small Business Liaison Team to bring these valuable resources directly to our local business community.”
Whether you’re in the early stages of business planning or looking for ways to strengthen an existing enterprise, From Start to Smart Business is a must-attend event. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with experts, ask questions, and gain the knowledge you need to take your business to the next level.
