Clover Park School District’s Learning In Motion video series peeks inside schools to see what students are learning across the district.
In this feature, Rainier Elementary School third through fifth grade students completed their annual Culture Day projects. Each student chose a country to learn about and presented their findings to students from other classes with poster boards, presentations or booklets.

Rainier Elementary School is a public elementary school located in Fort Lewis, Washington, serving grades PK-5 with a student population of 574. The school is part of the Clover Park School District, which is ranked 183 out of 247 districts in Washington and has a 1-star rating from SchoolDigger.

This diversity is a key differentiating factor compared to some of the nearby schools, such as Beachwood Elementary, which has a more homogeneous student population. Rainier Elementary also serves a significant number of military-connected students, which is a unique characteristic compared to other nearby schools.
