U.P. Public Works crews have begun applying crack sealing to residential and main arterials throughout the city. This low-cost maintenance program can extend the life of street pavement and prevent potholes. When the work is complete at the end of September, more than six tons of material will have been applied to 10 miles of U.P. streets.
Motorists are asked to be patient and give the crews plenty of room as they work.
