Lakewold Gardens is pleased to present Sounds of the Homelands for its 2024 Music from Home season. Each concert program features the music of a particular cultural terroir, brought to life in the garden by renowned performers. The August performance features flutist Tracy Doyle, percussionist James Doyle, and pianist Isabella Jie performing music from Southeast Asia and beyond. This dynamic trio of instrumentalists will share repertoire seldom heard in the United States, including pieces by Jolin Jiang, JunYi Chow, Shirish Korde, Ng Yu Hng, Su Lian Tan, and traditional folk songs arranged for this ensemble.
Come early to explore the garden! Your ticket includes garden admission, as well as refreshments during the concert. Tickets are available at lakewoldgardens.org or at the door.
