Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) works to reduce air pollution, traffic congestion and fuel consumption by encouraging alternative transportation options other than driving alone throughout Washington State. Requirements are focused on employer-based programs that support employees in choosing non-drive alone commute options and reducing their drive-alone trips.
In the City of DuPont, we’ve sought input from our community members and employers to craft a detailed Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) plan. We’re excited to share that these strategies, along with the draft Plan, are now available for public review and comment.
