The Lakewood First Lions Club recently grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for students and parents attending a camp for children with diabetes.
Camp Leo is located in Auburn and is dedicated to enriching the lives of those affected by Type 1 diabetes though programs that inspire, empower, educate and promote community.
The Lions Club also donated $700 towards scholarships for children and has supported the camp for over 20 years.
