The water at Tacoma’s Jack Hyde Beach is safe to enter.
The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department lifted the advisory for people to keep out of the water at Tacoma’s Jack Hyde Beach. The health department issued the advisory July 17 because of high bacteria levels. Results from water samples collected July 22 indicate the public health concern is over.
