Greg,
When I see the names of these many teams and remember your reporting on the younger ones, I am struck by the fact that hundreds of kids learned more about baseball. They also learned the value of showing up and being part of a team. They also learned to use their bodies, to depend on each other, to cheer each other on, and to be gracious regardless of the outcome of an individual game. Beyond that they brought hundreds of families together so people got to connect in valuable community.
Thanks to all the people that made this remarkably valuable baseball season happen.

Thanks, Barlow. Kudos to the board of All Things Baseball, led by Jonathan Garcia and Paul Nimmo, who put this season together. And thanks to the Clover Park School District and the Parks Department of the City of Lakewood for their help. And to the coaches and parents who devoted countless hours to making it all happen.
