JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Washington — I Corps will host their annual Best Squad Competition June 10-14, 2024.
The competition will encompass 12 squads from across JBLM and will participate in a time driven, round robin style competition.
On June 10, 2024, the competition begins with an ACFT, squad board, layouts, and opening briefs at the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy. On 11-13 June 2024, teams will continue with events, round robin style split between morning and afternoon shifts. On June 14, 2024, the culminating event is the ruck march.
On June 14, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. I Corps will host an awards ceremony and the Army’s 249th birthday celebration.
The winning squad will compete in the Forces Command Best Squad Competition later this year at Fort Liberty formally known as Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
