Rather than a regular meeting, perhaps those around the table should take a field trip along Grandview. View the impact of our trees. Note the sidewalk and curb damage. Count how many trees are growing through the overhead transmission lines. Discuss how much was spent last year? will be spent this year?
These trees have outgrown their beauty, deformed and disfigured, topped and lopped to fit confines, uglier each time.
Perhaps poll citizens for ideas. There must be a better way.
