Currently, the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is caring for over 280 animals at the shelter plus an additional 161 in foster homes. The shelter urgently needs to create space to sustain its lifesaving operations. As a result, the shelter is waiving adoption fees for adult dogs, adult cats, and all critters through Sunday, November 19.
View the shelter’s adoptable pets on the shelter’s website at www.thehumanesociety.org or visit the shelter located at 2608 Center Street between 10 am to 5:30 pm.

That is WONDERFUL to make this weekend a time that you waive adoption fees! I HOPE MANY OF THE ANIMALS THERE CAN GET NEW HOMES SOON !!
I would bring them All Home if I could. Plenty of Love here. I adopted my cat from there when she was about 4 months old and now she is 20, and still happy & healthy !
Bless All Who Adopt !!+

This is the best way ever to join together families with the animals that are innocent and not sure what they did to not be wanted. I find myself selfish right now knowing that we bought our 3 little puppy’s. 2 purebred yorkies and a fluffy tiny Maltese/poodle.
I feel greedy to say the least to pick and pay the amount we have to get exactly what I wanted. Our dog’s are taken care of like my children were. I wonder if I could possibly make room for a dog that is not so blessed. I think that this is really doable and I will pray for the right decision
