Service changes for Sound Transit will take effect starting September 2. The changes include adjustments to some ST Express bus schedules to increase service reliability and improve transit connections. Service on Link light rail and Sounder trains will not change.
Effective at the service change, the transit loop at the Redmond Technology Station garage will open for use by ST Express route 566 and King County Metro routes 225 and 249.
The following ST Express routes will have service changes. Please Visit Sound Transit’s website for more details on individual route schedules.
545: Will no longer stop at Bellevue Avenue and E Olive Street in Seattle, due to changes at Pike and Pine streets in downtown Seattle. This route will use a temporary stop at Olive Way and Boren Avenue.
556: Will use Bay 5 and Bay 8 at Bellevue Transit Center, when traveling eastbound to Issaquah and westbound to University District, respectively.
566: Will use the bus loop at Redmond Technology Station and Bay 4 when traveling southbound to Auburn.
574: Will have minor schedule changes and an additional round trip on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
580: Will now use Bay 2 at South Hill Park-and-Ride lot.
