John and Nancieann Anderson, both members of the Lakewood First Lions Club, were named Multiple District 19-C Lion of the Year on Monday, May 22, for their efforts regarding vision, diabetes and childhood cancer, hunger, environment issues, and involvement in major fundraisers. Presenting them with the award was club president Ruth Anne Hickey, far left. John Anderson has been a member for 55 years and his wife for 33 years.

Do you remember me? We knew each other during the 20th Century. We have not crossed paths during the 21st Century, but I have never forgotten you and your positive connection to the Lion’s Club.
