Maybe if they gave them a place to go like they did with skateboarders…..
Lance says
They do. It’s called Pacific Raceway in Kent. There’s also a drag strip in Bremerton.
Linda Stoner says
Maybe if they just didn’t do it there wouldn’t be a problem.
Kerpal says
Linda, please have this printed on the front page of the TNT and broadcast everywhere. I am sure you will solve every problem this way.

Giving someone “a place to race, like with skateboards”, must come from someone who doesn’t know a thing about “street racing”. S.R. is reckless, dangerous, and has nothing to do about keeping this “thrill-kill” safe for all who participate.
The 2nd comment is “right on” with using the drag areas.
After witnessing this situation & being a participant when I was a kid, it doesn’t take much to “smash up your parent’s car”. The street racing consequence usually ends in a “DONOR” situation; ask any ER, RN.

Kristy,
I have 3 National Championships and 1 NorPac championship racing cars. When I said some where to go, I literally meant that. Skateparks are free and open most hours. PR in Kent is a) not free and b) restricted hours. Bremerton is only during the day, not free, and is an hour away. Wanna talk about the Ridge in Shelton? Looked at those fees and it’s distance/time availability? In addition to all these, most tracks are seasonal. It’s a very good correlation. I do not endorse street racing. I merely stated that we give everyone else somewhere to do their activity, even the junkies, why not these guys? How about instead of the massive homeless encampment at old Tacoma airport, we repurpose that for some semi sanctioned racing.
Don’t be obtuse.

But did the judge use their preferred pronouns?
If not, case dismissed!
