The number of COVID-19 outbreaks this week was about the same as we saw last week. The number of cases in those outbreaks increased slightly.
You can help stop outbreaks. If you feel sick, stay home, get tested and use CDC’s quarantine and isolation tool to see the next steps you should take.
Businesses and long-term care facilities saw 79 outbreaks totaling 831 cases. This is a slight increase in the number of outbreaks, and a 13% increase in the number of cases.
Four new large outbreaks were added, and 5 large outbreaks were closed during the week.
