A joint investigation between @KentPD & TPD led to the ID & arrest of an 18-yr-old male believed to be responsible for the organization of numerous illegal street racing events throughout King & Pierce County. TPD arrested him today in Puyallup.
What is needed next is what we call CONSEQUENCES. If the subject is proven guilty, the court and legal system should met out some CONSEQUENCES so the guilty party and anyone else who might consider organizeing street racing will be provided with something to think about.
Think about it. I could decide to rob a bank, but no way. The consequences are too expensive for me. Committing a Federal Crime and doing Federal time, dissuades me from robbing a bank. There are other reasons I would not rob a bank, but CONSEQUENCES trumps them all.
I call it the Cost – Benefit Ratio. It is not worth it.
