This past Saturday, April 2, more than 250 Lakewood underserved children and parents participated in the Lakewood First Lions Club annual Easter Egg hunt at Springbrook Park near Joint Base Lewis McCord. Hot dogs and chips were also served. Lakewood First Lions have been hosting this event for 20 years.

Caring for Kids also is a part of the Easter egg hunt. We provided the buckets, $125 worth of McDonalds gift cards, toothbrush kits for everyone and craft items.

What a nice thing. I saw a video on Facebook with dozens of kids running around scrounging for eggs. Looked like they had a blast.
Wonderful work, Lakewood First Lions Club and Caring for Kids!
