The Tacoma-Pierce County Affordable Housing Consortium and League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County are collaborating on candidate forums for Tacoma and Puyallup that focus on affordable housing and homelessness issues.
Homelessness is a crisis in Pierce County, and each jurisdiction struggles with how to assure that there is sufficient affordable housing to meet the needs. Candidates will answer questions about these issues.
This series includes:
- Tacoma City Council Districts 2 and 4 – Monday, September 27, 6:00 pm
- Tacoma City Council Districts 5 and 6 – Monday, October 4, 6:00 pm
- Tacoma Mayor – Monday, October 18, 6:00 pm
- Puyallup City Council – Tuesday, October 19, 6:00 pm
