On Sept. 17, our 14-day case rate per 100,000 for Aug. 26-Sept. 8 is 642.5. The 14-day case rate offers the most reliable look at COVID-19 disease burden on Pierce County.
Our hospitalization rate is currently 16.8 per 100,000.
Today, we confirmed 382 COVID-19 cases and 3 new deaths:
- A man in his 60s from Graham.
- A woman in her 90s from East Pierce County.
- A man in his 80s from South Hill.
Our totals are 77,236 cases (PCR = 68,752, antigen = 8,484) and 743 deaths.
