On Friday, 8 October the annual Film, Art and Book (FAB) fest will present the exciting thriller “Sicario, Day of the Soldato”. This edge of your seat thriller involves an attempt by the U.S. to kidnap the young daughter of a Mexican drug cartel chief. The kidnapping is planned to look like it was done by a rival cartel thus igniting a war between cartels. Plans, however, do not always go as designed.
You definitely won’t want to miss this unforgettable thriller! Film stars the charismatic Benicio Del Toro and Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin. Film runs 122 minutes and is rated R for violence. A talk back will be held following conclusion of the film.
Film starts at 6 pm. Seating opens at 5:30 and is on a first come basis. Admission and parking are free. A concession stand will be available. Come early and enjoy the author and art exhibits before the films. The McGavick Center (Bldg 23) is located on the campus of Clover Park Technical College at 4500 Steilacoom Blvd SW.
Free drawings for prizes will take place before each film.
