Richard Nixon says
Instead of asking Lakewood’s citizen to be aware of the problems to numerous individuals and pets, why not just make them illegal, like U.P. and other cities?
AND have the police diligently respond to calls from our citizens about those showing a disregard for others! Many years ago, when Larry Saunders was the police chief and Dave Hall the asst. police chief, they would both travel Lakewood and give tickets to those firing illegal fireworks or shooting fireworks outside the city’s authorized time for their firing.
