Please clarify: what procedures are involved in the “DuPont Steilacoom Road Improvements” ?
And when was this process brought to awareness of Steilacoom residents?
Rebecca Hill says
Drivers consistently disregard posted speed limits: we have a ‘radar’ indicator: our documented vehicle speed patterns are consistently above 45 mph, right through our gentle community. So ~ WHAT ‘improvements’ are you suggesting that will address these excessive speeds, in a RESIDENTIAL community?
There are crosswalks, school-bus pickup areas on Union Avenue. Deer crossings.
Whatever ‘improvements’ are on your ticket should be a matter of public information. After all, the second part of your ‘Improvement’ statement does include the word “Steilacoom”…

Maybe the speed limit should be increased and they could put in lights for the cross walks?
