Perhaps the Puyallup City Council can listen to it’s people of color who are not being represented. As well as calling out the owner of a house blocks away with a racist statue on his chimney!! It’s time for change.

      PJ,
This is Robin Farris and I am on the Puyallup city council. I put forward a proposal to establish a group of pastors to develop a program for racial equality last week and I didn’t have enough support to get it off the ground.

What you can do is write a letter to the editor in the Tacoma News Tribune. Email city councilmembers. Our email is first initial, last name @puyallupwa.gov. Here are the first initials, last names of all councilmembers.

      rfarris
      djohnson
      jdoor
      nwitting
      jkastama
      jpalmer
      cjacobsen

      Write an email every month.

You can lead a protest march in support of my proposal or just in general. You can peacefully protest your neighbor. Ensure you review any city requirements and local laws before you march. The City Clerk is a good first point of contact to ask questions.

I want you to know that I do support moving forward on addressing racism in our city.

      Robin
