    Thank you for taking time to provide such a detailed overview of the many waterways in our area. I have often looked at maps to see where creeks flow and how they connect to the lakes, but your article really brings these things to life.

    People have been changing the direction of water since the beginning of time. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not. It’s important that we all gain better understanding of how this works.

    In the California desert, there is a place called the Salton Sea. Many say that it is the biggest environmental disaster in California history, all caused by mis-management of water.

    Let’s hope we all learn enough to prevent this from ever happening here.
