Definitely interested in this. I’m trying to understand what is happening to our country. What does the far right really want and how can we bring everyone a little closer to Center?

Perhaps chairman Kilmer could learn something by not voting to impeach a president on partisan lines. The division in this country existed long before 2016. It has only grown since then based upon three things; a president who is arrogant and stubborn, a media solely bent on bringing him down, a divided congress with no true middle. Derek, you and the rest of Congress (both sides of the aisle) are the problem.

To answer Karen, I really appreciate your will and hope for exactly what you are suggesting. Unfortunately, until the media and Congress change, it will only get worse. The division spreads daily. We are far past the point of negotiating the division by use of words. Sooner or later, blood will be shed. Congressional dolts like Kilmer believe that they are above the issues that they have taken a part in creating. They have no understanding of the division and what will result from it.

Perhaps those on the right could get their head out of the dear leaders a**, and then think and act like responsible adults. Those who keep saying that he has done nothing wrong are the ones who are the problem. The republicon party is dead. It has shown that they care not for the country, democracy, or any improvement in the status of the population. They have no problem with bailing out the corporations but when it comes to helping the people all of a sudden it is just too expensive. I agree that blood will be shed. Look at all the domestic terrorism of the last few years. The majority has come from the right. They know they are a dead party along with their ideas. They use violence because that is all that they have left.

The Republican party is half the country. It is not any more deceased than the Demoncrat party. Jimmy may have gulped up too much of the left wing propaganda to be able to think clearly. I am not a Trump supporter, said he was arrogant and stubborn above. Nor do I like any politician. Both sides of the aisle are unpure. My point of the partisan impeachment was to bring an example of the things that have divided the country beyond repair. Republicans have their issues. So do Democrats. Antifa has spread as much violence this year as the far right groups. Democrats want Socialism, racial equity (racial reparations), and police reform (reduction in police officers and restrictions on what they can do while protecting their own lives and ours). Neither party is correct.

Mr. Grimsey, if the Republican Party is dead as you say, how do you explain that party candidates gained 11 seats in the House of Representatives? The seat count is now 222-213, if you neglected followed the election. Since you appear to know everything about the party, this should be an easy explanation.

Marty, the Republican party will take the house back in two years and have Biden up on impeachment in three. That is the scary part as that bigot Harris scares me more than dementia Joe. Literally half the country is Republican and the party is dead, lol.

Yes, there is are easy explanations. The republicon party has gerrymandered the boundaries so that although it receives a smaller amount of the vote it still gets the seats. The republicon party does not represent half of the country, close maybe right now, but not half. They are the minority party. So as their members die off and they fail to attract the youth because they have no ideas except obstruction of anything that does not suit the corporate donor the party is dead. It is now shown that the party is undemocratic, uses voter suppression to keep control, is not fiscally responsible, and has no claim to the truth. Those lies propagated by the right have worked in the past but the time is coming that these tactics will no longer work. The youth of this country knows who you are and what you do and don’t stand for. That is another reason the party is dead.

    So, Mr.Grimsey, your explanations are:

    1. Gerrymandering
    2. Voter suppression
    3. Not fiscally responsible
    4. No claim to the truth

Sir, can you provide any evidence to support these explanations? If not, rational people really can’t take your comments seriously. I won’t trouble you with any further factual questions.
