CPSD Promising Future: Tillman Zinn

December 2, 2019 By Clover Park School District 1 Comment

Tillman Zinn’s favorite subject is math and he is currently enjoying the challenge of pre-calculus. He likes running and has been a member of Lakes’ track and cross country teams each of the four years he has been at Lakes. “Running gives me something to do,” he said. “And I’ve made a lot of friends because of it.”

Tillman participates in DECA and Key Club at Lakes and thinks community service is very important. He has volunteered with Caring for Kids, helping sort clothes and provide meals for kids in need. “I want to be able to give back to my community,” he said.

He was recently named November’s Lakewood Rotary Student of the Month. “Tillman Zinn is an exceptional young man,” said Lakes Assistant Principal DeWayne Lindh. “His compassion and open heartedness are beautiful, beyond words, and his commitment to excellence and consistent pursuit of his very best are simply inspiring.”

Tillman is not in a hurry to choose a career. Though he has enjoyed learning about business through his time in DECA, he is waiting to spend some time in college before he chooses his future path.

Do study Correlation Analysis. Keep in mind that the Aztecs believed that
by killing people as sacrifices to their Sun God, the Sun would always come
up the next day– and it did… A 100% Correlation! What better proof!

Just as today, some accept any high correlation as proof. We need some
who understand the limits of correlation and what it was really intended
for: the be beginning of analysis, not the conclusion.
