Critically Endangered Species in the Pacific Northwest is the topic for the next Steilacoom Library Speaker. The talk will be held at the Steilacoom High School Library on Friday, March 8 at 3:00.
Earthjustice is a nonprofit dedicated to defending our fundamental right to a healthy environment. Staff from the organization’s northwest regional office will share valuable information about local endangered species and how we can help save them. Earthjustice uses five cornerstone laws to protect imperiled species and
their habitats: Endangered Species Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, National Forest Management Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
Come to the free speaker event to learn more about the endangered species that
live in the Pacific Northwest and become educated on why they should be saved and how individuals might be part of that effort.
