I-5 ramp and lane closures scheduled for week of Feb. 11 in Tacoma

February 10, 2019 By Washington State DOT

TACOMA –Weather permitting, contractor crews building direct connect HOV lanes between Interstate 5 and State Route 16 will close the southbound I-5 exit 132A to South 38th Street for concrete paving and drainage work on a new southbound I-5 alignment.

During this closure, drivers on southbound I-5 will detour to the South 56th Street interchange, back to northbound I-5, and proceed to exit 132.

On Monday, Feb. 11 and Tuesday, Feb. 12, crews will close one lane of eastbound Wiley Avenue from F Street to L Street, and one lane of westbound 27th Street from N Street to L Street each night from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day.
