LAKEWOOD, WASH—Throughout the month of January, Clover Park is celebrating School Board Recognition Month. This year marks the 25th year of this annual observance initiated by the National School Boards Association.

“Our school board takes great pride and care in leading the effort to help create promising futures here in Clover Park,” said Superintendent Douglas Kernutt. “They work tirelessly to approve policies and provide the support and oversight we need to do the important work in the classroom.”

The school board represents Clover Park School District, Lakewood and Joint Base Lewis-McChord communities, which serves nearly 13,000 students and employees more than 1,500 staff members. They play an essential role in ensuring our students receive a comprehensive and equitable education.
