BD Local stepping in to KLAY Radio void

January 25, 2019 By The Suburban Times

Submitted by Bob McClusky.

Well, KLAY Radio has closed and the studios are vacated.

Into the KLAY void, BD Local has stepped in. Located at 1120 Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma.

A state of the art studio will serve as the centerpiece with the goal of becoming the #1 Podcasting studio in the nation.

BD Local will have 20 weekly programs by the end of January and 40 by the end of February (KLAY had 44 weekly locally produced programs).

I had no idea that Podcasting is so popular with people over 40.

BD Local has a technical staff and an engineering staff doing amazing cutting-edge things.

We are holding weekly Podcasting informational meeting for prospective hosts to come in and see if Podcasting is for them.

The next PODCASTING meeting will be next Wednesday, January 30th at 12:00 PM at BD Local’s studio.

We will be discussing Podcasting opportunities for people that want to learn about hosting their own weekly program. We will be sharing the advantages of Podcasting and how it can make a business grow. Questions will be taken throughout the meeting.
