Interesting they don’t send anyone to the one on Pacific Highway SW near the freeway.

There is no explanation offered. It couldn’t possibly be business. The place is always busy.

I’m going to make a sticker saying… In memory of 100th, and put it on the back of my blue and white 1954 Chevrolet Belair.

Nooooo, say it isn’t so! We have been going to that same Denny’s for 25 years. Love the server staff they are like family. Doesn’t make sense this home away from home is always packed!

Oh dear . . . we have taken you for granted, like you’d always be there. I’m sure there are good reasons to move on, but you all will be missed a lot! Best wishes in your next endeavor.

My dad and I were going to have breakfast there this morning until we saw the cone at the entrance and the restaurant being dark. So sad! This was within walking distance of my house!

When I hitchhiked from Nashville back to Lakewood I asked my final ride to drop me off at Denny’s on 100th. Walked in to see Treeka. She hadn’t seen me in over a year. “Wade the Blade,” she called me. Sat down and ordered a skillet scramble. Home at last. Grew up in Lakewood. Class of 1995. So many friends who worked at that Denny’s. Many are no longer with us. May God bless you all.
