Music at the Apple Squeeze on Sunday, October 2nd, will definitely be toe-tapping thanks to three groups who will be performing.
From 10:00 to 12:00 Curlew’s Call will perform their Celtic and maritime tunes. Based in Olympia, they play at Irish pubs, festivals and private events around the Northwest. Their music harkens to the early music heard around the waterfront and will start off the day with fun and energy.
American Country and well-known local duo Kristi and Steve Nebel will perform from 12:00 to 2:00 with their folk and folk rock sound. This internationally touring couple has been performing together for over 15 years and have recorded several albums. They have been popular on the UK festival scene and have been appearing at the Apple Squeeze for several years.
The Barleywine Revue started as a college band at University of Puget Sound six years ago. They are now a five-piece bluegrass band with tight vocal harmonies and strong musicianship. The band has toured extensively around Washington, Oregon, and California. They are scheduled in the 2:00 to 4:00 time slot.
Many come to the Apple Squeeze for the cider, but it’s ok to come just to hear these fine groups and their upbeat rhythms which contribute to the fun atmosphere of the day.Print This Post
