The contractor paved this week. The road remains closed to all but local access.
Roe Street Project:
The Roe Street grind and overlay project is scheduled to start September 6th. Please utilize alternate routes when possible.
The crew installed a permanent service in the 500 block of Galloway Street and assisted a contractor with a primary extension to serve four additional lots in the same area. They also reinstalled a street light on Steilacoom Boulevard near the library. The prior pole/light had been damaged in a collision. Additionally, they performed inspections, took monthly amp readings and inspected the wayside horns, worked on street lights, and performed other system maintenance.
The crew worked on resolving the findings from the DOH inspection, inspected the new sewer installation in the 500 block of Galloway Street, inspected a sewer replacement in the 1000 block of Rowell Street, repaired a pump in the Marietta lift station, and performed maintenance around facilities.
Parks, Buildings and Grounds:
Staff prepared for and recovered from the Farmers’ Market and summer concerts, mowed parks and grounds, and performed other building and maintenance projects. Next week, we will be removing the hanging baskets and flags.Print This Post
