Hundreds of Tacoma residents will unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimers. The event will take place at the University of Puget Sound on Saturday, September 11. Registration opens at 11 a.m., Opening Ceremony at 12 p.m. and the walk begins at 12:30 p.m.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s Association care, support and research programs. Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services. Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.Print This Post
