A review, co-authored by former Lakes High School graduate Christopher Badger, recently appeared online in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery (Journal of American Medical Association). Christopher Graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 and is a third-year medical student at the University of California Irvine. Badger noticed a growing number of clinic patients asking about nasal dilators, so he decided to review the published research on them.
The review’s findings suggest that nasal strips and nasal clips effectively relieve obstruction of the internal nasal valve, and recommends that patients explore their use before turning to surgical intervention.
