About P.L. Travers
Helen Lyndon Goff adopted the stage name Pamela Lyndon Travers (P.L. Travers) early on in her life. Pamela was a popular name at the time and Travers was the name of her father, who had passed away when she was only a child. Travers had a love for not only journalism but mythology and fairy tales as well.
