Most of us know that in the City of Lakewood, we are, for the most part, peacefully co-existing with an abundance of wildlife, including deer. On numerous occasions we might see a doe. I have published several of my own photos of doe sightings.
It is not often that we see a buck. My friend, Edmund Leavitt, saw two bucks. Ed abandoned his breakfast to grab his Nikon SLR digital camera with a 18-300 mm lens and captured the images below.
Ed started working with photography when he was only ten years old. He now has well over a half century of manipulating a camera shutter.
During my process of trying to decide which of Ed’s photos I should share with you, I could not decide, so here are all four images.

I haven’t seen any deer here where I live, but I do have a lovely little bunny, who has made his nest in the grass in front of my house. Comes every morning, and leaves in the evening. He hides so mostly I seen two opink ears sparling in the sunshine.

Thanks for sharing. Such beautiful creatures and kudos to your friend Ed for sharing his space peacefully with them.

When I get a chance I will have to tell you about the problems that I have had with deer and how I remedied those problems with a little bit of gasoline and a shovel.
Oh relax, I’m just kidding.
