Sound Transit says drivers in Lakewood can expect night time lane closures at 100th Street Southwest, starting as early as Monday, May 23.
Sound Transit’s contractor, Stacy Witbeck will be digging trenches along the railroad and installing a tube to protect electric cables.
The traffic lanes will be closed starting as early as 8 p.m. and will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. This work – which is related to the Washington State Department of Transportation Point Defiance Bypass project – is anticipated to last one week.
